Brad D. Goodsell, JD,
is a Boise native and has spent all but 10 years of his life in Idaho. He is the founder and managing member of North End Law, PLLC. He also serves as Director of Legal Affairs for the Idaho Public Employees Association (IPEA). Prior to entering private practice in 2009, Brad served as a Deputy Attorney General for over 17 years, including as Lead Counsel for the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) for ten years where he also served as a member of the executive management team. He has also served as counsel for public pension funds in Texas. Prior to his ten years with PERSI, Brad worked as a deputy attorney general assigned to Idaho’s Medicaid program, and as a deputy prosecuting attorney. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Idaho and his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. Brad is married to TJ and has three children, Tara, Ben and Trisha, and two grandchildren – all living in District 19.
Brad’s experience working in state government gives him a unique perspective and ability to identify and solve problems. He has a good sense of what works well in government, the capacity to engage in reasoned dialogue, and the ability to find responsible and sustainable solutions to the challenges we face as a state.
