Brad Goodsell endorsed by the Idaho Statesman

Our View: legislative endorsements, districts 17-19: Rohn, Goodsell earn support in 19

The Statesman writes:

“Goodsell has a strong background in state government. He worked 17 years as a deputy attorney general, including a decade working on behalf of the Public Employees Retirement System of Idaho. In past sessions, lawmakers have sought to tinker with the well-run PERSI program; Goodsell should be an effective voice of reason for public employees…experience gives Goodsell the edge.”

The Statesman endorsement is the most important endorsement of the primary season as it represents a non-political, independent body that evaluates candidates solely on their credentials and not based on political connections.
